Current inventory
Rule for future optional technology
Any future analytics, replay, personalization, or marketing technology that is not strictly necessary must remain blocked until a visitor makes an informed choice where consent is required. Rejecting must be as easy as accepting, consent must be withdrawable, and this inventory must be updated before deployment.
Why necessary and optional technologies are treated differently
German TDDDG §25 and the Austrian implementation of the ePrivacy rules require informed consent for storing or accessing information on a device unless it is strictly necessary for a service explicitly requested by the user. Swiss data-protection rules require transparent information and meaningful control, and consent can be required for qualified tracking or profiling. GDPR consent standards apply where consent is used.
Your controls
You can still block or delete cookies in your browser. Doing so does not currently remove any SwayRadar feature. If optional technology is added later, a persistent privacy-settings control will be provided.
